Mariyasadanam: Empowering the needy in Kottayam

Mariyasadanam, a non-profit charitable organisation based in Kottayam and managed by Santhosh Joseph, is dedicated to helping the neediest in society. Founded on March 14, 1998, Mariyasadanam began as a humanitarian initiative with the intake of Thomas, a mentally ill destitute. It now houses over 400 destitute men and women, and 23 children. Many residents were abandoned by their families and left to fend for themselves. When WIS was approached by Mariyasadanam, we created a website to communicate about their values and secure financial support for their projects, highlighting their commitment to providing care and shelter to the abandoned and needy.
